As Likit Mimarlık, we have added another touch that enhances the value of living spaces. In our interior architecture project carried out in collaboration with Som Yapı in Başakşehir, Istanbul’s rising star, we merged aesthetics with functionality. In this project, we blended the simple lines of modernism with the elegance of classical details, offering homeowners a timeless atmosphere.

In the Som Yapı project, instead of being limited to a single style, we developed two different concepts suitable for the spirit of the space. Our goal was for the user to both feel luxury and experience home warmth in every detail. In our designs, we combined the quality of Vanucci Kitchen & Bathroom products with the unique design language of Likit Mimarlık.
One of the most eye-catching areas of the project is the kitchen design dominated by earth and taupe tones. In this area, we conceived the kitchen not just as a place for cooking, but as a stylish living area where the heart of the home beats.
Color Palette and Fronts: The matte taupe color we chose for the cabinet doors was enlivened with frame details. The thin rose gold (copper) molding details on the doors elevated the perception of luxury by adding a sophisticated sparkle to the space.
Showcase Elegance: Glass showcase sections and interior lighting used in the upper cabinets created an elegant area for displaying porcelain and glass items, while adding depth to the kitchen.
We integrated the latest technology without disrupting the visual integrity of the design.
Appliance Harmony: We did not compromise on the nobility of black. The Smeg brand black retro refrigerator and built-in oven group, which are the focal point of the design, created a perfect contrast with the taupe cabinets, adding character to the space.
Flooring and Countertop: The large-format, glossy marble-look ceramics we used on the floor and the marble texture on the backsplash reflected light, making the space appear much airier than it is.
In the other phase of the project, we aimed for a warmer, more intimate, and nature-intertwined atmosphere. This design, which combined the purity of white with the warmth of wood, became one of the most elegant examples of the modern "Country" style.
The Dance of Wood and White: The matte white color chosen for the base and wall cabinets was broken up by the natural wood texture continuing on the countertop and backsplash, providing a warm balance.
Island Kitchen Solution: The island unit positioned at the center of the space serves both as a preparation area and a bar table for quick breakfasts. The wicker weave bar stools complementing this wooden-countertop island added a bohemian and natural touch to the design.
Lighting Design: The modern black pendant over the island and the chandelier with crystal stones in the ceiling medallion symbolize the bold combination of classical and modern.
